Dying Light developer Techland is adopting a new work model wherein staff will either work in-office or split their time between that and remote work.

As confirmed by GamesIndustry, a spokesperson for the developer said the change would "create a more collaborative work environment." Sources speaking to Polish site CD Action claim team leadership was informed of the change 24 hours before they had to tell their employees.

Studios enacted remote work in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Over time, many opted to have staff come back to the office, either full-time (often to staff's dismay) or with similar hybrid policies.…

After the recent Island Age Rating initiative caused controversy within the Fortnite community, Epic Games has announced it will be dialing back the feature until the company has a sufficient “long-term solution.”

Epic made the announcement on Fortnite’s official website, where it confirmed that cosmetic gating will be disabled for the majority of Fortnite’s cosmetics beginning with the v28.00 update on December 3. A few items will still be affected, but according to the news post, it will only be a “small number of existing cosmetics and less than 10 outfits” that were chosen “because of their obvious fear or violence elements.” Come from Sports betting site VPbet

Developer Slightly Mad Studios and publisher Bandai Namco have announced that Fast & Furious Crossroads will be delisted from digital storefronts on April 28 at 10PM ET / 7PM PT. The racing game launched less than two years ago.

Per an update on the game’s official website, those who have already purchased the game digitally will still have it in their library and can be downloaded. Additionally, any DLC for Fast & Furious Crossroads that is purchased before then can still be used as well. The game’s online modes and servers will continue to function, too.

Fast & Furious Crossroads features Vin Diesel as series protagonist Dominic Toretto. Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson also reprise their roles as Letty Ortiz and Roman Pearce, respectively.

Chad Stahelski (John Wick) has shared that as director of the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima movie adaptation, he hopes to honor the game’s homage to filmmaker Akira Kurosawa by filming the movie with a Japanese cast that will also deliver the movie’s dialog in Japanese.

Speaking to Collider, Stahelski shared that beyond this project, just in general, Kurosawa is in his “top five biggest influences of my life, as far as film goes.” Stahleski added that game publisher Sony is “so on board with backing us” with his plans to feature a “complete Japanese cast.”
